A bit about me

I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over 15 years of experience working in mental health as a registered mental health nurse. My background spans a wide range of settings, including community, crisis, and inpatient services. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals through some of life’s most challenging moment, whether that's acute stress, anxiety, low mood, bereavement, or navigating major life changes.

 

My passion for therapy developed through years of working closely with people in distress. I came to see that while life can bring unpredictable challenges, therapy offers practical tools and strategies to help people manage, grow, and move forward. This belief inspired me to train as a CBT therapist, and I genuinely love what I do.

 

I’m particularly interested in helping people feel understood, supported and empowered. I work hard to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can speak freely and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

 

I also have experience supporting individuals during the perinatal period, including pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood. Becoming a parent can be overwhelming and, at times, isolating. CBT can be a powerful approach to help you manage the emotional ups and downs, build resilience, and regain a sense of balance.

 

My therapy sessions are delivered online, which many clients find more accessible and easier to fit around busy lives while still offering a personal, supportive experience.
